Book the Meet the Penguins Experience for just £54 per person to get within a flipper's reach of the penguins - you won't be disappointed! The experience starts at 13:50, from the meeting point at the Penguin Beach VIP area. This experience is understandably not available during July, August and September as this is when the penguins go through their moulting season. They don't want visitors when they're not looking their best, now do they!

Grab a great gift with the Penguin Gift Pack (£125 for 2 people). This includes 2 entry tickets to either ZSL London or Whipsnade Zoo, plus 2 tickets for a Meet the Animals experience! Or, from just £35, why not adopt Ricky, ZSL London Zoo's only Rockhopper Penguin? Ricky is a truly comical character who likes to be centre of attention! He hops about in front of the keepers making noises until he gets his fill of fish!

Located right by the Coca-Cola London Eye, just over Westminster Bridge from The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Sea Life London Aquarium is home to some truly fascinating creatures! Highlights include the sharks, the turtles, and the rainforest species. For penguin lovers, there is a colony of Gentoo Penguins - the third largest penguin species after Emperor and King Penguins!

Sea Life has helped to breed Gentoos, Humboldts and King Penguins in an effort to save them from extinction in the wild. Sea Life London's amazing Penguin Point aquarium is specially designed to match the conditions of the Gentoos' natural habitat and climate. Every last detail has been considered, even down to the lighting; in the spring from 5pm onwards the lights are turned down low and enter a sunset cycle of red light to mimic the Southern Hemisphere.

The enclosure has an underwater viewing window so you can properly observe the birds gliding through their watery world. It also features, uniquely, the Ice Adventure, designed in conjunction with the British Antarctic Survey to replicate the Gentoos' natural frozen landscape. The temperature is constantly monitored and maintained, and the air is filtered to rid the enclosure of airborne diseases.

In 2014, Sea Life London's first baby Gentoo Penguin was born! They named her Elsa. Little did that tiny bundle of fluff know how much she was helping the survival of her species!

Please note that public transport is the recommended way to reach Sea Life London.
